It's been exactly 500 days since the last blog post.
A lot has happened, and I suppose my excuse for not writing more is because I was documenting it all on Instagram. Weak excuse, I know.
Looking back now, it's almost odd how little I have to say. It felt like another lifetime ago. In the past year, so much changed. I had the privilege to experience new sights, meet new people, and completed a major life milestone (good-bye "student" life). While I'm so incredibly grateful for every opportunity that has come my way, I'm also ready to start this more realistic & down-to-earth, working professional chapter of my life. So, 500 days and 17 countries later, it's on to a new adventure here in Toronto.
“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
